My lovely poet, writer-friend Susa Silvermarie, writes about the value of a pause (read here), and it makes me pause. I want to write more about this idea of pausing, especially on this day when another horror has been delivered to our already bruised country.
This morning, I dashed off a response, driven by the adrenaline of outrage and heartbreak. Now, I’m going to merely share an image and prolong a pause, letting time calm the waters of my spirit and refresh the chaos clamoring in my brain.
