But, I am not against showing some anger, in non-violent ways, to at least get attention focused on a problem that is way too easy for many people to either be unaware of, or too busy to try to do anything about it. Anger can be productive when it spur...Thanks, Judy. Anger can be productive when it spurs us to action. Or unproductive if it blinds us to deeper understanding of why things are the way they are. What we see on the surface of things is seldom more than a symptom of deeper issues. The more I think about my early years, the move I believe that not being able to express anger in more normal ways caused me to find other ways to cope. I can't imagine being without anger. That said, I don't want to have to LIVE always feeling my anger. But anger motivates action. For me, it's physical action, usually, for often what makes me angry is outside my control.
